Ipolipid presents with a new nutraceutical association, effective to correct dyslipidemia, or an alteration of the lipid profile of the blood, one of the main risk factors of coronary heart disease, still recognized as one of the major causes of death in industrialized countries.

Fermented red rice extract is titrated in monacolins, statin-like substances capable of inhibiting the activity of specific enzymes involved in the endogenous synthesis of cholesterol, in particular the fraction linked to low-density lipoproteins (LDL “bad cholesterol”). Statins are the active ingredient of choice among synthetic anti-cholesterol drugs. Those contained in red rice show the same efficacy at a lower dose, probably thanks to the presence of the phytocomplex. This peculiarity allows Ipolipid to present reduced adverse effects typical of statins, in particular myopathy and hepatic alteration.

The substance berberine present in several plants including Berberis aristata, improves the sensitivity of GLUT4 receptors to insulin, helping to reduce and stabilize blood sugar. At the same time it acts in the liver where it helps to reduce the synthesis of low-density LDL fatty acids, in favor of healthy high-density HDL fatty acids. For this reason, berberine is particularly effective in diabetic patients, whose lipid and glucose picture is normally altered. The only current limitation for the use of berberine is its reduced oral bioavailability.

The combination of berberine with silymarin contained in milk thistle extract is able to improve its oral bioavailability, thus increasing its clinical efficacy. In fact, clinical studies have shown that the combination of berberine and silymarin is, in fact, more effective than berberine alone. The formulation is completed by the presence of Coenzyme Q10, in the form of ubiquinol, water-soluble and highly assimilable, whose endogenous production is partially blocked in those who use statins.

This deficiency is responsible for the side effects of statins and the same fermented red rice.

Ipolipid is indicated as an adjuvant in the treatment of dyslipidemias, associated with high LDL cholesterol.

Take 1 tablet a day, with food, preferably in the evening before bedtime.
